Surgery closed for staff training Wednesday 15 June

It’s that time of the month again.

The surgery will be closed Wednesday 15 June from 12 pm for staff training. We open again at 8 am on Thursday 16 June.

Need medical help while we are closed?

Please contact NHS111 if it can’t wait till the next day.

If it is life-threatening, please ring 999 instead.

If it is less urgent, you can also use our online consultation system. However, it can take 3 working days for your query to be dealt with, so it isn’t suitable for urgent matters.

It is not suitable to request appointments or request repeat prescriptions. It is a great way of finding out the status of your referral, requesting a repeat fit note, asking a non-urgent medical question.

Many minor ailments can also be dealt with by the pharmacist, so it may also be worth giving them a try.

Interested in knowing what we will be doing during our training?

  • We will have a brief staff meeting, discussing a few new developments.
  • We will discuss ways of improving the way we deal with the many jobs that need to be done within the surgery.
  • We will do online training (mandatory and statutory modules that all staff members work through at their own pace and in their own order)

We aim to be as well-informed and prepared as possible to be able to serve our patients to the best ability.
