Unfortunately, we received an email from our supplier of flu vaccines today (3/9/21). The guaranteed delivery of vaccines for the week of the 13th of September (which would have been in time for our first clinic on the 18th) will be delayed for 1-2 weeks.
They have advised us not to book any flu clinics until we receive their confirmation of when the delivery will take place.
To top it off, they have informed us they will advise us 7 days before the likely delivery of when this will take place. The actual confirmation of when the delivery will take place will be sent to us 48 hours before the delivery! To say we are not impressed is an understatement. Further emails have rained into our inbox from other practices in the area who have received the exact same email from the supplier. None of us are impressed.
Once more, we apologise for the inconvenience. We fully realise how unprofessional this is. Even if it is beyond our control. We will update you as soon as we know more.
