We wish all our patients, staff members and their loved ones a Happy and Healthy New Year.

And now it’s time to share the comments left on our Patient Satisfaction Survey again.

‘I had a telephone call from Diabetic Nurse Julie on 30th December 2025 and my Blood sugars had come down so Julie was very pleased with me.’

Great to hear you had a success with your diabetic control. A great start of the New Year. Keep up the good work!

‘Disgusting no further advise go en in’

Not entirely sure what happened here. The patient mentioned they felt they should have received advice a lot sooner and they had contact us via the online form. Unfortunately they left no contact details so we can’t investigate what happened here.

Please remember that the online consultations are only suitable for non-urgent problems and it may take up to 3 working days before an outcome or advice on your medical or administrative query will come back to you. We suspect the patient was signposted to A&E which suggests an urgent problem. If that is the case, they did not choose the right platform to request advice from us. If your query is urgent, please contact us by phone instead.

Amy:

Q10. What do you feel this healthcare professional is doing particularly well?
 Amy is always courteous and polite, she is very knowledgable and I trust in her nursing ability wholeheartedly. I have been to see Amy on more than one occasion and she is consistently excellent in her practice, profession and interaction abilities.
Q11. What do you feel this healthcare professional can improve on and how?
 I think the profession needs more people like Amy, that’s the only thing I would try and rectify.
Q10. What do you feel this healthcare professional is doing particularly well?
 Well she seemed to know all about my medication but the appointment was really a waste of time as I had, had everything done and the Nurse did not know why I was there neither did I??
I had the appointment down as a Review of my medication but I did that with the Pharmicist earlier in the year, so the nurse checked her computer and apologised for my being called in.
I suppose mistakes happen no one is perfect.

 She apologised which is all she could do so it was just one of those things.

We apologise for the wasted appointment. Not sure why that happened. However, some patients need a medication review every 3 months due to the medication they are on. We assume this was not the case for this patient.

 Amy was very friendly, polite and respectful. She explained why I was there and what the procedure was and did what needed to be done professionally and with care. She did her job very well and came across has a very nice and conscientious young lady.
