Again later than planned, here is a look at the comments left on our Patient Satisfaction Survey this week.

My daughter went to see ANP Jackie. She had an appointment for acne and contraceptive pill. Jackie is a brilliant nurse, very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you

my problem started with a xray on my hips something show up was then sent for a scan and they found something in no time I was in hospital had my operation and just waiting for my results. Thanks to a lovely doctor

Always a good experience

On the GP front.. not the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been with an issue and the doctor is sat Googling the condition..

We’re not sure about the googling bit. Doctors don’t tend to use ‘Dr Google’, but have several medical websites they can use to check on things if they are uncertain or need more information. As they say, a specialist knows everything about a little area of medicine, a GP knows a little (often not that little at all) about everything. Importantly, they know where they can find more information if uncertain, or where they can refer if needed. Would you rather see someone who would just do as they think might be right, or check on something if they are uncertain? I would prefer they checked if they weren’t sure.
